One of the great things about the world of Social Media is that it levels the playing field. The socially shy can be bold with confidence. Appearance doesn’t matter as much as what is being said and how trust relationships are developed and built.
It was to be the wrap-up to a thought-provoking, educational, inspirational Inbound Marketing Summit (IMS09) in Boston. Over 300 people had just listened to 70 speakers in just under 20 hours. There’d been tweet-ups (gatherings of Twitter users) Tuesday night, Wednesday night, and I was looking to continue the tradition Thursday. I replied ”Yes please” to a tweet sent out by Nate Riggs asking if anyone wanted to get together for happy hour after the show. (more…)
